de Laveaga Grove -- The National AIDS Memorial
Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

Rodney Karr has been very involved in the National AIDS Memorial Grove for over twelve years and has a warm and close friendship with the board of directors, staff, and gardeners from the National AIDS Memorial Grove. He is currently involved in a film project, documenting the history and beauty of the National AIDS Memorial Grove. We celebrate the rituals of Samhain, and the Winter Solstice in the National AIDS Memorial Grove in our groups. Historically and spiritually, the National AIDS Memorial Grove and Monarch Bear Grove are connected and are a unity. The Monarch Bear Grove physically manifests the masculine energy as a hill or mound. The National AIDS Memorial Grove manifests the feminine energy or polarity, as a valley.
